This is the arm of the Church reaching out to those with needs in the community. It can cover a wide range of needs from family
pressures, financial, loneliness, and support in many more areas. We seek to bring the love of Christ to a needy world through
practical support and help.
People can offer to support someone through the Link Visiting scheme, a project linking up a visitor with a lonely person.
Or help with the Inside Out project on a Thursday morning in the Woodley precinct where tea and coffee is provided and a listening ear.
Help is always needed for babysitting for single parents. We occasionally get other requests for help with transport, or
gardening or decorating. It is good to have a pool of people who can be called on when the need arises.
Also if you know of someone who could receive help from our community services please contact me as above.
