Preaching series:
“The Church”

The aim of this series is to give us a chance to review and refocus our understanding of what the Bible says about the Church and what being the Church means in the 21st Century. As well as looking at the Biblical teaching for each session we will try to include the practical applications of the theology in our cultural and contemporary situation.

Sunday 12th May

   The Holy Spirit and the church. With a focus on our need for The Holy Spirit so that we can fulfil God’s call to be His church.

Who is it for?
Anybody in Woodley shopping precinct on a Thursday morning.

What is it for?
This is an inter-church community outreach activity where we take the smaller JAC van into the precinct and offer a friendly face and a listening ear (or just a seat) to anybody who wishes to spend 20p for a drink and biscuit. We have a regular clientele of (mainly) older folk, some of whom have very limited social contacts, but all are welcome.

How can people join in?
By volunteering to help drive the van or serve coffee on occasions.
