Small groups provide the opportunity for worship, prayer, Bible study and close fellowship. They are for anyone who wants to deepen
their relationship with God and with others in the church fellowship; to discover or develop their spiritual gifting: to be a
disciple, to give and receive encouragement in our daily Christian walk. Various local small groups meet a couple of times a
month on different weekdays as follows -
We are an open group that participates in open discussion during our Bible studies and prayer times. The studies may be theme-based or
on specific Bible topics or books. We tend to have special meetings at Christmas and Easter, sometimes sharing communion together.
Lovely ladies and mature men meet in venues to the south west of Woodley.
The emphasis of the group is on Bible study, prayer and supportive fellowship. We enjoy social occasions and seek to finish sessions
promptly at 9.30 p.m.
We are a 'traditional' Bible study group, with worship, prayer, fellowship and occasional social events. Using study guides, DVDs,
or by simply listening to God through His word, we aim to grow together in our faith and its outworking in our lives.
We are a group of people who share and explore our faith together in close and honest community, both spiritually and socially.
This is our aim and purpose and we are happy to welcome all who wish to commit to these ideas and Christians who share this perspective.
What we do -
- Informal Bible study, followed by questions and discussions about the application to our lives
- A commitment to praying for one another and sharing answers to prayer
- Social activities and events for family, friends and group members
We explore the Bible through directed study via books / DVDs, followed by lively discussion, questions and prayer. We aim to provide
the opportunity to grow in faith while having fun and friendship (and sometimes pancakes!) in a group where you can be yourself.
