United in Knowing Jesus and Making Him Known

We recognise from Scripture that mission is at the heart of God.

As a church, from early days, there has been a commitment to support mission local, in the UK, and overseas.

In one sense we are all called to be missionaries, sharing the Gospel with those around, but on this website we are referring to those whom we have sent out from our own congregation as well as individuals and organisations which we support formally as a church. For all whom we support this involves a commitment to pray for them and for some it also means financial support.

Our strategy as a church is:-

To help support our own members working at home or overseas

  • To meet our Baptist responsibilities in the UK and overseas.
  • To offer financial and practical support to individuals involved in long term ministries
  • To help support our sister church in Romania
  • To support at least one Christian organisation involved in emergency relief work
