Kerry Stillman | Pioneers

Our link with Kerry began through her parents who were members of our church for many years, until they moved for health reasons. Her father, a gifted evangelist, is now with the Lord and Kerry lives with her mother.

Kerry worked for many years in Cameroon with Pioneers UK, a Christian organisation focusing on getting the Gospel to unreached people groups.
She worked as a physiotherapist as part of a team which established a hospital, serving the local community’s medical needs and connecting with
people searching to know Jesus. The hospital is now owned and run by a Cameroonian Baptist organisation. Kerry and her team spent most of the
last ten years of their time in Cameroon making disciples of Jesus from an unreached people group and then training them to share the gospel with
their own people In 2023 Kerry returned to the UK and joined the Pioneers base team in 2024. Her main role is “member care” supporting Pioneers UK field
members who are on ministry teams around the world, by providing encouragement and by being their link person to the Pioneers UK base.
Meeting up and debriefing with Pioneers members when they return to the UK for visits is an important part of her role, as is connecting with their
supporting churches. She also assists the Pioneers UK mobilisation team, helping new appointees prepare to join their field teams. Sometimes she attends Christian events in the UK and engages with people seeking to know more about Pioneers UK and how they can be part of taking the gospel to unreached people.
She also keeps in touch with the work in Cameroon and encourages the believers from afar.
