YOUTH & CHILDREN
Sundays
CRECHE is for children aged 0 to 3 years. We have a Crèche that is run by DBS checked volunteers. The welcome team will be able to direct you as you come in to church. You can sit in church with your child or they are welcome to go into the back hall with the children for Kids Church (after 15-20 minutes) and there they will be looked after and have a selection of toys to play with. You can go back into church should you wish.
Family Fun is about sharing Food, Fun and Faith. It’s a space to explore faith as a family in a relaxed way.
We do this through Crafts, Games, and activities based around a Bible Story or Theme.
Our aim is to make it a place where you will feel welcome, make friends, and have fun together as a family. There is no charge, and you can just turn up and join in. Each event has refreshments.
Family Fun takes place on Easter Saturday, July, October, and Christmas Eve from 3:30-5pm in the back hall of the church. please check the website calendar for more details.
All our adult volunteers have a valid DBS and reference check.
KIDS CHURCH is for children aged 3 to those in School Year 10. We spend some of the morning in aged related groups so we can better help the children explore faith in Jesus. We meet in the back hall and the church lounge (downstairs). They go into church for the first 15 minutes of the service before going out to their group.
During the groups they will explore the Bible and themes that impact their lives. We have a range of activities such as group games, crafts, discussion, and a chance to get to know each other. They are encouraged to ask questions so they can understand God and their personal faith better.
On the first Sunday of each month they meet upstairs in ‘The Venue’ for a brunch during the 10:15 service. We spend some of this time praying together, alongside food and games. On the last Sunday of the month we stay in the service for Cafe Church and have children’s activities alongside joining in with some of the main content such as quizzes, and worship.
During the week for those in School Years 7 and above we meet on a Thursday Evening from 7:30-9pm (Hot Spot). This is a mix of exploring what it means to follow Jesus in a fun and relevant way alongside socials. Please contact Graham Sumbler our Youth Worker to find out more (use the get in touch tab at the top of the page).
All our adult volunteers have a DBS and reference check. We will ask you to fill out a registration form for each child on your first visit.
